I am so happy to have returned to the Mountain West after living in the South and Midwest for many years. I love living in Laramie, Wyoming with my husband who also works at the University of Wyoming. I was born and raised just outside of beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
I have a passion for travel because it broadens the mind and awakens the spirit--I am transformed by each experience abroad. My favorite adventures include camping in the Virgin Islands, caving in Puerto Rico, and hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to take undergraduates to Italy during a 2 week study tour in the summer of 2017.
I love to be active, creative, and spend time with family and friends. I have fun challenging myself with new fitness goals, so in 2015 I crossed the finish line of my first half-marathon and my 5th sprint triathlon. In 2016, I trained for and finished the New York City marathon--truly an experience of a lifetime. I also enjoy hiking, camping, road and mountain biking, scuba diving, and skiing. When I feel like being a homebody, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and knitting. Below are some photos from adventures in the last several years.
